Before you start cleaning your leather shoes etc. you remove the laces.
Brush loose dirt with stiff brush or cloth - very dirty shoes clean with saddle soap following instructions on package directions. Then use clean cotton cloth dipped in polish then onto the shoes - let dry for 10min and buff with clean cloth.
